Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. (‘02-’06)

Ambassador Danny Ayalon is the founder of The Truth About Israel, a non-profit organization that educates the public on Israel. He is a member of the Board of Governors of Tel Aviv University and the Lantos Human Rights and Justice Foundation in Washington, D.C., and is a visiting professor at Yeshiva University. From 2009 to 2013, Mr. Ayalon served as a Member of Knesset (Israeli Parliament) and was Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel. Prior to these roles, from 2002 to 2006, Mr. Ayalon was Israel’s Ambassador to the United States from 2002 to 2006. He has also worked as senior foreign policy advisor to Prime Ministers Ariel Sharon, Ehud Barak, and Benjamin Netanyahu.
