Dr. Eli Dourado is an economist and regulatory hacker living in Washington, D.C., and a senior research fellow at the Center for Growth and Opportunity (CGO) at Utah State University. Before joining CGO, he spent 2+ years as head of global policy at Boom, a supersonic transport company backed by Y Combinator. Before that, he was a senior research fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University and director of its Technology Policy Program. Dr. Dourado has a Ph.D. in economics from George Mason University.
