Kevin Knudson

Dr. Kevin Knudson is a professor of mathematics at the University of Florida, as well as Chair of the Mathematics Department. His current research interests are in the emerging area of computational topology, discrete Morse theory, and the homology of linear groups. He is also interested in undergraduate education, particularly at the intersection of the sciences and humanities. Professor Knudson’s research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, National Security Agency, and Oak Ridge Associated Universities. He likes to cook, enjoys craft beer, (tries to) play the guitar, and is the co-host of the popular mathematics podcast, “My Favorite Theorem.”
